Patient Advocacy
At Carolina Endocrine Associates, we believe that patient advocacy advances health care and improves the lives of our patients. To that end, we encourage our patients to connect with the various resources at their fingertips to achieve their individual health care goals. For some patients, that will mean links to patient assistance programs for help paying for medicines through the pharmaceutical companies. For others, it may be engagement in health care policy on a local, state or national level. Still others may want to connect with professional organizations that focus on endocrine-related disorders.
